Hello A-Team !!!!!
During this Winter Break, I hope you all had time for the following: Just Breathing. Stepping outside. Lying down for 5 – 10 minutes. Just Meditating or Relaxing. Sitting down with a cup of tea. Writing in a journal. Expressing your feelings in art or to a friend or spouse. Pausing between each project you do. Going out by yourself and seeing a friend, or a a movie. I can honestly recommend 2 movies: Star Wars and Joy. Both very very different. When I go to the movies with Warren, we go before noon on a Sunday. The tickets are usually half price. IMAX Star Wars was different. I don’t want to spoil these movies for you. Each is uplifting in its own right. Of the two, Joy will influence me for the rest of 2016.
This is the first post of the new year !!!! For more than 2 weeks you have enjoyed time away from your education. Almost time to come back. The first class of the new year starts Wednesday, January 6, 2016. The fall semester is winding down. This is the time to make sure you have all your assignments in. The final day of class, I do intend to take pictures. If you don’t know if you are missing anything…..I will tell you in class. If you know what you are missing, send it to me in an email.
I learned something new about Stella this Winter Break. I learned what happens when a pussy cat eats a live flea. I also learned how to cure this. Thank God for Master Card and flea bombs!!!!
I am still working on the syllabi for the Spring Semester 2016. I will be publishing by Wednesday, January 6th. I know what I am teaching. I know I should be teaching in the evenings. I have no flyers, yet. And don’t know if I will. Bear with the system. It will get better. During times of change, the elephant dances slower.
In Sewing Fundamentals 2 – Apparel Construction we will continue working on our shirts and pants.
In Computer Patternmaking – now is the time to make up your muslin toile samples. May of you are missing passed assignments. We will talk during class, on Wednesday, January 6th.
