The Picture of the Week !!!!!

Hi A-Team !!!

As soon as spring break comes around, I have someone who will teach me how to add pictures to my Mail Chimp Campaigns. I can’t wait. The following picture is the picture of the week. It was taken in India. THANK YOU MINAL !!!! See the blog for the Picture of the week !!!!!

Collections: We are still making patterns. We should be beginning our sample toile garments this week. If muslin is expensive, try using the $2.99 solid color broadcloth if you need a woven sample toile. I will be going over the order of operations from designing a garment and produce it. Please note: for this class, patterns do NOT have to be perfect. You do NOT have to trace them off. There will always be more patterns to choose from. AND there is always a $1.99 table for patterns at Yardage Town.

Portfolio: Last Tuesday, we learned hemming stitches. Last Thursday, we learned how to input 3 zippers: Lapped, exposed and invisible. This coming Tuesday, we will be practicing buttonholes. Sad to say, Thursday, March 27th, is our last day of the Sewing Techniques Portfolio class :- ( I will be grading the portfolios. If there is time, I will also take a group picture of everyone with their portfolio. After Spring Break, Sewing Fundamentals: Using your First Commercial Pattern will be in session. If you are thinking of taking this course…..get your pattern now !!!! Remember to buy it according to your bust, waist and hip measurements. See the blog for a picture of the McCall’s pattern number 5992. It is pictured in the syllabus.
